Funimation streams that she declared herself a student of the English dub of the anime Wise Man simultaneously with the subtitled version E! News UK

Funimation announced on Tuesday that it has started broadcasting an English dubbing for the TV anime of Hirotsugu Ryusen‘s She declared herself a pupil of the sage (Kenja no Deshi or Nanoru Kenja) series of light novels. The English dubbed episodes will air on the service along with the English subtitled versions.

The English cast includes:

Tia Ballard lead english dubbing, and Matt shipman is writing the script. Travis George is the engineer, and Gino Palencia is the mixer.

The anime premiered on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS TVN January 11. Funimation Exclusively airs the series and has already aired a first preview of the first episode on Friday.

Seven seas licensed to both the light novel and the manga, and it describes the story:

Keitaro Motonaga (Jormungand the two seasons, Date A live first three seasons) directs the anime to A-Chat Studio. Takamitsu Kouno (Utawarerumono: The false faces, Absolute Duo) supervises the scripts of the series, Kumi Horii (LBX Girls, Infinite Stratos 2) designs the characters, Come on Sakabe (Date A live franchise, Digimon adventure tri. film series) composes the music, and Yasunori Ebina is the sound director.

Scott MacDonald is the artistic director, while Tsukasa Ohira is credited for the artistic framework. Miyu Yamamoto is the key artist of color. Tsubasa Yokoyama is the director of compositing of photography, while Yoshiaki Kimura is editing. Yuichi goto is the 3D director.

Asaka performs the opening theme song from the anime “Ready Set Go !!” Erabareshi performs the ending theme song of the anime “Ambitious”.

Ryusen started serialization the story on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” (Let’s Become Novelists) website in April 2012, where it is still ongoing. Micro magazine publishes the story in print with illustrations by Fuzichoco (The 8th son? I hope you are joking?, Stem rehabilitation art), starting with the first volume printed in June 2014.

Dicca Suemitsu launched a manga adaptation of the novels on Micro magazine‘s Comic ride manga site in July 2016.

Seven seas published the first printed novel volume on August 12 and the first printed manga volume on July 20.
