PA calls on international community to halt escalating Israeli violations – Middle East Monitor

The Palestinian Authority (PA) on Friday condemned the escalating Israeli violations against Palestinians and journalists, a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates revealed.

The statement follows Israeli aggression against Palestinians and journalists in several villages and neighborhoods in the occupied West Bank.

“The ongoing escalation is endorsed by the political and military levels,” the statement revealed, adding, “This is a systematic policy aimed at blowing up the situation and implementing more colonial plans to expand the illegal existence of Jews in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The PA blamed the Israeli government for: “Violations by the Israeli army and settler terrorist militias.

He pointed out that the Israeli government led by “extremist” Naftali Bennett “destroys all opportunities for peace based on the two-state solution”.

The PA Foreign Ministry called on the international community to act “immediately” against “the escalation of violations and extremism”.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Israel is exploiting the Ukraine crisis to intensify its violations against Palestinians and their rights.
