Second Progressive Anime Film Sword Art Online Gets IMAX Screenings in Japan – Up News Info

The official site of Sword Art Online the Movie – Progressive – Kuraki Yūyami no Scherzo (Scherzo of a Dark Dusk), the second film of the Sword Art Online the Film -Progressive- animated film series, announced on August 10 that the film would get IMAX screenings on the same day as regular screenings opened in Japan on September 10. The site unveiled the visual below for the IMAX screenings.

The film will have an early screening on August 24 at Shinjuku Forest 9. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito) and Eir Aoi Will be present. The second film will be released in Japan on September 10.

The film will feature a returning cast. In addition, Kaede Hondo will play Liten, and Yusuke Kobayashi will play Dead.
