State of Play Reveals Synduality, a Titanfall Post-Apocolypse Title Featuring an AI Anime Girl

Bandi Namco unveiled a trailer for its new IP

Did you ever feel like Death Stranding was too grounded in reality? Did you ever think The Last of Us Part 2 was too depressing and dark? Well, Bandi Namco has the perfect game with Synduality. This new IP was just announced during PlayStation’s State of Play event and lets you play as a soldier with a cute anime AI as they pilot his robot in a dystopian post-apocalypse setting.

Not much of the game’s story was revealed in the trailer, but we got a solid look at what to expect in terms of gameplay. It will be a third person shooter that will allow you to eliminate evil soldiers, monsters and much more with a wide variety of weapons.

These tools of destruction include a railgun, grenade launcher, standard assault rifle, and chainsaw blade (because the anime). Plus, you’ll destroy AO crystals, collect resources, and do what you can to survive and reclaim the world humanity has lost along the way.

Although no release date has been revealed, Synduality is expected to come to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime in 2023. The game will also run on Epic’s Unreal Engine.
